Frailty amongst people experiencing homelessness

PROJECT STATUS: Ongoing
/
START DATE AND DURATION: June 2022 - May 2026
Summary

People experiencing homelessness are more likely to become frail at a young age than people who have a home. Frailty may reduce resilience, making it harder to escape homelessness.

We need better evidence of the size and impact of the problem, and to seek views of service providers about how to address it.

This project sets out to better understand the causes and results of frailty, how we can identify frailty and what we can do to prevent and manage frailty in people who are homeless.
